Beta version allows thousands of AlertSite customers to pilot and provide feedback on features and capabilities of new reporting console
COCONUT CREEK, Fla.—February 25, 2010—Today AlertSite® released the beta version of its new interactive Web performance dashboard, which gives customers instant access to their Web sites' performance data, and allows them to slice, dice, and analyze the information in real-time. This new, interactive approach to Web performance reporting gives users up-to-the-minute insight and control, and allows them to quickly access and assemble exactly the type of reporting they need to best manage the performance of their Web properties and ensure great customer experiences. Built with the feedback of AlertSite customers over the past six months, the beta dashboard is now available to all AlertSite subscribers. Customers can test drive the beta and provide feedback simply by logging in to their current dashboard and clicking "Leave Feedback" at the top right of their screens.
"Our new Web performance dashboard is a direct outgrowth of our constant communication with customers, and our commitment to continuously improving their user experience," says Gary Beerman, Vice President of Marketing for AlertSite. "Any software or service developer will tell you there is nothing quite like a beta test to quickly refine a product, and ensure it fully meets users' requirements. In the end, thanks to the feedback and suggestions of our customers, we're confident that our new interactive dashboard will be our most comprehensive and easiest-to-use reporting engine yet."
The new Web performance dashboard is more flexible and user-friendly, giving users the ability to view data the way they want, when they want it. New features include:
- Drag 'n drop performance graphs that can be rearranged to meet individual user needs. This empowers users to review the performance of their most important sites and applications first.
- Autodisplay options that automatically open graphs showing the problems customers' Web sites or applications are having at the top of their graphic monitor screen immediately upon login. This ensures they can quickly respond to and minimize the negative effects of performance issues.
- Automatic monitoring intervals that are set to refresh user monitors and performance graphs every five minutes or greater based on a customer's monitoring frequency. New notification icons display the most recent errors based on a customizable setting of one to 48 hours. This lets users pinpoint exactly when, and from where, an error occurs.
- Powerful formatting abilities that allow users to sort data multiple ways, including by response time and status; resize charts; and view multiple graphs simultaneously, so data can be viewed in the most convenient format, and performance issues can be more easily and expeditiously identified and remediated.
- Personalized preferences and settings that are preserved after each login, giving individual users just the display they want no matter when or from where they log on.
The new dashboard also continues to give users the ability to overlay their Google Analytics™ traffic metrics with performance data for unprecedented insight into how traffic influences performance, and how performance impacts consumer behavior online.
"Being able to quickly identify performance issues is essential to avoiding lost profits or drops in customer satisfaction and loyalty that are often the result of an unresponsive or unavailable Web site," says Ken Gross, President and CEO for AlertSite. "Our new dashboard is even more intuitive and user-friendly, making it easier for customers to test and review the performance of their Web sites and applications, so they don't miss any potentially crippling performance issues."
The enhanced console will be rolled out permanently to all customers in early March 2010.
